Going into the Geed movie, base Zero is taking on Galactron units with Orb and Geed, but after using Shining to survive a major attack, he has to rely on Leito and Beyond to make up the difference due to the sheer amount of energy jumping through time takes. He has all the ingredients to do so, but the experience is what makes it iffy. I'd even be the first to say Tri-strium is one of the stronger forms due to it being a fusion of 3 Ultra, similar to Ultraman Saga. Ill mention here that, those comparing Taiga and his feats to Zero, I will grant that the kid is powerful, and has a lot more to grow. The fact he combined it with the Aegis is.honestly insane. It is also here I will add that his Shining form is one of his most powerful, but due to energy constraints jt isnt practical in combat. Correct me if I am wrong but with the Aegis damaged, those forms were barred from him, but why mode change when you have a fusion of the three? On that topic, I also dont want to imply Beyond is better than the Ultimate Aegis, both have their use and are good tools in his box.
Yes, it uses New Generation powers, but the form itself is almost a mix of: Base Zero, Strong Corona, and Luna Miracle. Injured, tired, and drained, Zero still fought on par with the robot, and while it got away, he was by all rights the victor there.
You can tell the results when you look at the fight between Zero and Darklops Zero in Geed. This is an important point to my argument. Here we see the argument of which is better for refinement: training or live combat? Honestly this is where I will start a reference point: the people of light are kinda like the Saiyand from DBZ, they train like crazy and they get stronger the more ferocious battles they get in. But while many remain on their world, the Plasma Spark providing constant energy, Zero is out actively hunting threats. We have seen in Mega Monster Battle, the Warriors of Light train, readying themselves to be defenders of whatever world they go to. However despite this, Zero continues to be relevant, even able to take on newer monsters in his base form. No denying it, much as we love the older generations, these youngins continue to grow and use the power of the older Ultramen as power ups. I was looking up Zero and I saw this thread (on a subreddit I didnt know existed ) and wanted to add some items to this topic. Pardon the intrusion and the thread revival.
